Big Money Days In NIL Land
photo cred: Opendorse

What a time to be alive. If you told me a basketball transfer from Utah State could make $2 million by transferring to any school, I would have thought he was the second coming of Lebron James. Turns out that's just the climate we're in now with NIL. The Mountain West Player of the Year Great Osobor is transferring to Washington and has NIL agreements in place that will give him the highest-known valuation in college basketball this season, at $2 million, according to a document reviewed by ESPN.

George Langberg of GSL Sports Group negotiated an NIL deal that will make Osobor the highest-paid known player in college basketball with 2 million dollars of NIL deals already in place. Osobor averaged 17.7 points per game, 9 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks a game last year for a Utah State squad that reached the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament before being beat by tournament runner up Purdue. Osobor held his own against National Player of the Year Zach Edey with 14 points and 6 rebounds.

It's the moment we've all been waiting for and it's right around the corner. EA Sports is bringing back one of their most popular franchises by releasing EA Sports College Football 25 this July. Quinshon Judkins has been tagged as one of 6 other players who will grace the cover of the game.

Quinshon Judkins transferred to Ohio State from Ole Miss where he ran over 1,000 in both of his seasons there. He comes into Columbus as one of the most coveted transfer players in the portal this year. Judkins recently donated $10k of his NIL earnings back to the Pike Road High School football program where he played previously.

Judkins is a powerful runner who never stops his legs from moving forward. It will be interesting to see how he fares in Ryan Day's offense this fall. If you're not familiar with Judkins' body of work, please get a load of the clips below:
